PKMetal The 8-year gap brings more varied songwriting, improved vocals, and perhaps most importantly, a distinct personality. I was familiar with Valensorow before, but they didn't stand out to me. By leaning hard into the humor (extra credit for choosing shrooms over beer!), better balancing the folk sound with the death metal, and even daring to go a bit avant-garde in the songwriting, they've reached the next level.

shamishred Incredible from start to finish. Valensorow's third album is a well-executed effort from these folk metal badasses and shows their sound has only gotten better with age, like a fine wine.
